I am the Founder and Managing Partner of Leading Business Ventures (LBV), a venture commercialization organization (“VCO”)™. Through LBV and/or with strategic partners we work with private and public innovation initiatives and their investment portfolio.
Our Venture Partner offering comprises of collaborating with the partnership, shareholders and directors to develop strategy, source, select and manage a targeted set of companies and projects. We are proponents of employing capital efficiency, by utilizing seed funds, innovation capital and non-dilutive financing for validation for proof of concept (PoC) and crossing the “valley of death.”
Our Advisory services consists of strategic and implementation guidance as an Executive, Non-Executive Director or Director.
Our Accelerator Program solution provides strategic design, management and programmatic support. We have experience and affiliation with well-regarded commercial, university and non-profit mentor-based programs in over a dozen countries, including North America, Europe, Latin America and Africa. We provide interventions that prepare these entities for market and capital access in areas such as "de-risking", corporate development, and ecosystem management to increase enterprise value & stakeholder returns.
While initially rooted in sales and marketing, I have since gained experience as an entrepreneur, investor and consultant on teams that architected and implemented innovation programs and funds that have yielded several exits, including public offerings; and private companies subsequently acquired by publicly-traded entities. I have accumulated experience in medtech and biopharma as well as in roles that incorporate the impact of Internet and digital technologies.
